The Pulse of Iman: Love for the Prophet ﷺ as the Essence of Faith

The Pulse of Iman

Is it possible to follow a path without loving the guide? This talk delves into the theological and spiritual necessity of Mahabbah (love) for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Far from being an emotional additive, this love is presented as the essential bridge between a cold adherence to law and a vibrant, living connection with the Divine. Habib Kadhim explores the Prophetic statement: “None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his father, his child, and all of mankind.”

The talk concludes with the reminder that the Prophet ﷺ is the “Door to Allah.” To love him is to love the Beauty of God reflected in human form, and to follow him is the only guaranteed path to Divine proximity.
